To Tech or not to Tech? Creativity and Critical Thinking in the Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

While it is important for today's classrooms to effectively utilize technology, critical thinking and creativity are the primary skills that students must master in order to be successful following high school. These skills are applicable across all disciplines and helpful for all learners. By the end of this workshop, educators will be able to identify what student creativity and critical thinking looks like in a classroom. They will leave with specific tools and activities that can be easily modified to integrate these skills into any content area. Join us as we learn about and gain a deeper understanding of these skills through the use of both technical and non-technical tools and strategies, including Google Forms, green screens, and digital formative assessments, among others. Einstein said "creativity is intelligence having fun," so give your brain a break and come have fun with us!
